If a tree falls in the forest with no one around, does it make a sound?

This painting behaved very differently depending on whether or not it was being viewed. Were the lights on? Which ones? More importantly, were you standing close enough to cast a shadow? To fog the glass with your breath? This was an exploration of how to push the idea of viewership activating a work of art. A tree is in the act of falling, to answer the age old question.
